Spitimas

Villa Spitimas with private swimming pool, with a view of the mountains and the sea, in Mithi near Mirtos on the southeast coast of Crete.
The house was built in 2008 and is located on a former olive grove together with 3 other houses. Mithi is located up the hill approx. 4 km from the friendly village of Mirtos, a great little resort with its typical Cretan hospitality, boulevard and little restaurants.
A good walking area, near the Sarakina gorge, the Omalos plateau and Chrissy Island.
The larger town of Ierapetra is approx. 20 km away.

The homes location is perfect. Around the mountains and from the roof terrace, the garden and the swimming pool there is a beautiful view of the beautiful Libyan Sea. During the day you can watch the birds of prey fly in the valley, looking for their prey. Some birds have a wingspan of over 1.50 metres.
In the evening you can enjoy the stars from a lounge chair and listen to the sound of silence. Interrupted only by some crickets. Deep peace is what radiates from this place.

The house is suitable for a maximum of 6 persons, because there is only one bathroom.
There is an outdoor shower.

Travel time to Heraklion is 1.5 hours.
